The zone associated with cash flow and liquidity. The framework treats it as the part of a home concerned with money in motion rather than money at rest.

Practice · Try It Yourself
It is the object you handle more than any other in your home, and it has a fixed address that almost nobody has ever chosen deliberately. Here is what the framework says about that address, and what I am not willing to claim about it.
01 · The Question
Think about where your phone charges tonight. Not where it sits during the day, but where it lives for the seven or eight hours you are asleep, and where you reach for it first thing in the morning.
Almost certainly, that spot was decided by a socket. Whichever one happened to be nearest the bed when you moved in, or whichever one was free. No thought went into it, because there was no reason to think about it.
Which is interesting, because it is probably the most-handled object in the house, and the first thing your attention lands on every morning.
02 · Why a Phone at All
Traditional Vastu was written long before mobile phones, so there is no classical text that mentions one. What the tradition does have is a way of reading an object by its function rather than its name: is it heavy or light, still or active, does it store or does it move, does it bring things in or send things out.
By that reading a phone is unusually active. It transmits and receives constantly. It is the main channel through which money, work, conversation and news enter the house. In a modern home it is closer to a doorway than to a possession.
An active doorway sitting in a fixed zone for eight hours a night is, at minimum, worth thinking about.
03 · What the Framework Says
These are the associations the framework makes. Read them as a map of what each zone governs, not as a promise of what will happen to you.
The zone associated with cash flow and liquidity. The framework treats it as the part of a home concerned with money in motion rather than money at rest.
The zone associated with opportunity and career. Traditionally read as the direction concerned with what is coming toward you rather than what you already hold.
The zone associated with education, discipline and sustained application. The same zone that matters for where a child's books are kept.
The zone associated with analysis, churn and restlessness. Useful for thinking; less useful for the object you check last thing at night.
Of the four, the last is the one I would move first. Not because something bad will happen, but because a device designed to hold your attention does not need help from a zone associated with restlessness.
04 · The Honest Answer
You will find versions of this idea online that promise a great deal more than I am going to.
I am not going to tell you that moving a charger will recover a stuck payment, or land you a job, or make a child prefer mathematics to cricket. I have no way of knowing that and neither does anyone else. Any article that puts a rupee figure or a guaranteed outcome on a phone charger is not describing Vastu. It is describing a sales technique.
I am also not going to call any of this documented. It is not. There is no study, no trial, and no measurement. It is a framework for reading a space, applied to an object that framework has never had to consider before.
What I will say is this. It costs nothing, it takes ten seconds, it breaks nothing, and it is reversible. That is a very unusual risk-to-effort ratio, and it is the honest reason to try it rather than any promise about your bank balance.
05 · The Part Worth Noticing
Here is something that will happen regardless of whether you accept a word of the framework, and I would rather point it out than have you discover it and feel misled.
If you move your charger out of the bedroom, your phone stops being the last thing you touch at night and the first thing you touch in the morning. You will read less in bed. You will get up to fetch it. Those two changes alone are enough to alter how a person sleeps and what they do with the first ten minutes of their day.
So if something shifts, there are at least two explanations available, and I cannot tell you which one is doing the work.
That does not make the exercise pointless. It makes it honest. Both explanations point in the same direction, and the action is the same either way.
06 · If You Want to Try It
Use the compass on the phone itself. Stand in the centre of your home and face north, then work out which zone your charging point falls in.
On paper, before you move anything. People reliably misremember where things were once they have moved them.
One relocation, not four. If you change several things at once you will learn nothing about any of them.
Not three days. Note what you notice, and be as willing to write down nothing happened as anything else.
If nothing changes in a month, you have lost nothing and learned something. That is a better outcome than most things people are told to try.
07 · The Wider Point
The charger is worth writing about because it is the clearest modern example of something this practice keeps running into: an object that sits in one place for thousands of hours, that nobody ever decided to put there, and that nobody has thought about since.
Houses are full of them. The corner where the sports kit lives. The shelf that became a dumping ground. The appliance placed wherever the plumbing allowed.
Individually none of them look like anything. That is exactly why they go unexamined.
Beyond the Charger
Move the charger by all means. It costs nothing. But if something in your home or your work has felt persistently off, a single object is unlikely to be the whole answer, and guessing at remedies one at a time is the slowest way to find out. A thirty-minute diagnostic examines the whole plan, and often concludes that the difficulty is somewhere else entirely.
Nothing here is a promise of financial, professional or academic outcomes, and none of it is documented in any formal sense. Astro-Vastu is offered for insight and planning and does not constitute medical, legal, financial or investment advice. Individual circumstances vary and no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed.
